Create Windows 7 Password Reset Disk

- Go to control Panel from the Start menu
- Click on User Accounts and Family Safety
- Click on User Accounts link
- Click on the Create a password reset disk link from the task pane at left
- Now connect the USB drive into the computer
- The forgotten Password Wizard window appears, click Next
- Select portable media drive from the 'Create a password key disk in the following drive : drop down box
- Click Next
- Type the current account password in the text box and click Next
- Now Windows 7 will create the password reset disk on the chosen media
- After a message that 100% is complete then click Next and then Finish
- Now remove the external drive from the computer
