- Under the Windows Live ID type your Windows Live Hotmail address
- Fill the captcha characters and then click Continue
- Click Provide account information and answer the secret question
- If you are automatically logged in to your account then change the password if your want and send yourself a password reset email message and click Send Message

- Enter the required information and click Continue
- Enter the desired new password and then click Continue
